Supervision
Clinical supervision is mandatory for all therapists pursuing licensure as an associate professional counselor, and for full licensure as a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. Supervision is the direct clinical review of a clinician’s interaction with and direct experience with clients, for the purposes of providing clinical support, training, and teaching, to promote the development of clinical skills. Clinical supervision includes the review of case conceptualization, case presentations, and audiotapes. In supervision group we address an array of topics, providing supervisees the opportunity to expand their knowledge in ethics, diversity, cultural competency, theoretical approach, and professional development. Supervisees also benefit from providing and receiving feedback from peers.
I currently offer one evening group monthly, and will soon offer two morning groups each month. The evening group is 3 hrs and the morning groups will be 1.5 hrs. All group meetings are virtual. All supervises participating in group supervision must also schedule an individual supervision meeting once every 6 months for clinical evaluation. Supervisees may choose to do individual supervision monthly rather than group supervision or in addition to it..

Supervision Participation
Completion of a master’s, specialist, or doctoral degree program that qualifies you to pursue licensure as an Associate Professional Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia.
Employment in a position where a supervisee can gain clinical skills as defined by the Georgia Composite Board of LPC’s, LCSW’s and LMFT’s.

Consulting
In addition to helping women through life’s difficulties, I also love helping clinicians pursuing entrepreneurship in our field. I offer consultation sessions to clinicians wanting to start, grow, or revamp their private practice. I also help clinicians to launch innovative business ideas within the mental health and wellness field. I’ve successfully been there, done both!
Like many clinicians who have become entrepreneurs, I too, had no formal business or marketing training. However, I didn’t let that stop me from pursuing my dream and career goal of starting and maintaining a lucrative private practice, that I’ve now expanded into a group practice. I have a steady stream of new clients who reach out consistently to start therapy, I work with my ideal clients, allowing me to truly enjoy sessions, I have work/life balance, I’ve diversified my income by offering wellness events and workshops, and have a few more ideas that I will launch to create passive income.
